Young Researchers Tour Viminacium Park

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENTIAL RESEARCH TOUR FOR SMALL CHILDREN AND YOUTH, FROM 6 TO 12 YEARS AGE, which provides unique and amazing knowledge and joy for learning and enrich the motivation of young students !!!!!

Day 1 Departure from Belgrade at 08:30 am by bus of high tourist class with seat belts, and driving along the highway by Pozarevac to the Viminacium Archaeological park. Roman welcome by archaeologists dressed in roman togas. Walk through the Archaeological site of Viminacium with short introduction to the contents of the park.

Students would be divided into three groups and would work in 3 educational workshops, organized for learning about Roman history on the Danube – archaeological workshops, biochemical workshops and historical workshops. The educational workshops are conducted by three authorized researchers and scientists of the Centre for the Promotion of Science Republic of Serbia in the space of the Domus of the Viminacium Archaeological park on three levels and also at the archaeological site – lecturers and researchers archaeology, biochemistry and history, with help of authorized child psychologists, with explanations adjusted appropriately for children age and interests. Equipment for educational workshops is provided for all pupils and followers / brushes for Archaeological Research, microscopes, hats for protection from the sun/. Last researcher workshop includes a visit to the Mammoth park, which is one of the best known peculiarities of the Viminacium Archaeological Park. After two educational workshops there would be organized a traditional lunch, with some Roman dishes. As part of the educational program some of the best students will be allowed to dress in Roman toga dress – total 3 pieces, the representatives of each group. Around 18.00 drive to Silver Lake and accommodations in the luxury hotel Danubia Silver Resort. Dinner, overnight

Day 2 After breakfast half day enjoyment at the Aqua Resort Club Silver – AQUA PARK PARTY – fun water games, swimming with toy-dolphins …. Lunch. Afternoon party in a park full of greenery with competition and entertainment : fast eating sampita cake, games: between two fires, play rubber band, hiding the ball and dance with the ball. A short rest. Dinner. Disco party with choosing the most interesting story from holidays and most beautiful hairstyle /competition in 2 groups/. Overnight.

Day 3 After breakfast drive to the Viminacium Archaeological park and Diploma ceremony for the successful completion of the education course for small archaeologist and researcher. Snack and a common photo taking as a memento of all the participants of educational workshops. Drive to Belgrade. Arrival around 14.30 and end of programs and services.
