1. DAY
Departure from Belgrade and coach drive through beautiful Sumadija landscape and wonderful Ovcar-Kablar Gorge, known as the “Holy Serbian Athos” for eleven medieval monasteries along the impressive Zapadna Morava River Valley, and further to Mokra Gora. Accommodation in brand new traditionally furnished lodging-hotel close to famous archaic narrow-gauge train station Mokra Gora. Dinner, overnight
2. DAY
After breakfast departure for a full-day tour. Archaic Sargan train ride by narrow-gauge railway passing gorgeous Tara Mountain landscape. Visit to the Wooden Town located on the top of Mecavnik Hill, traditional settlement founded by famous film director Emir Kusturica. Drive on to Zlakusa village and cordial welcome at “Terzica Avlija” ethno-park followed by traditional lunch served in ceramics pottery. Presentation of hand-made pottery production and folklore performance by local group with active guest participation. Visit to nearby Potpec Pećina Cave situated in the foothill of beautiful mountain slopes. Late afternoon return to Mokra Gora, dinner in hotel, overnight.
3. DAY
After breakfast departure for a full-day tour to Zlatibor Mountain, the most famous mountain resort in Serbia and Sirogojno traditional settlement presenting preserved architecture and habits of Zlatibor region from 19th century. Walk along beautiful Zlatibor Lake and fragrant meadows with short brake on the local market where traditional products are sold /woodcarvings, handwork crafts and souvenirs, smoked ham, kaymak…./.Drive to Sirogojno and visit to the “Staro Selo Sirogojno” open-air Exhibition. Traditional lunch of home-made organic food. Exposition of handmade knitted products /word famous pure wool sweaters, socks, winter clothing…/Afternoon return to Mokra Gora and time at leisure. Festive dinner with music entertainment in the Restaurant “Lotika” in Wooden Town. Overnight.
4. DAY
After breakfast drive to Ovcar Kablar Gorge and ferry ride across Zapadna Morava River up to Nikolje Monastery. Sightseeing of remarkable spiritual hermitage nested at the river bank. Traditional lunch and coach drive to Belgrade. Evening arrival and end of program.
