Stanisici tourist complex Bijeljina

Ethno village of “Stanišići” is traditional settlement and tourist complex near Bijeljina in Republic of Srpska, on the Pavlovića road, 3 km away from the town. The owner of the complex is Borislav Stanišić, a local entrepreneur. The Stanisici traditional tourist complex was opened in March 2003. At the establishment Stanisici traditional tourist complex consisted of a pond, a tavern and a brook, to be expanded over time and now it contains another pond, two water mills, and restaurants serving traditional specialties prepared in the fireplace.
Stanisici traditional tourist settlement – ethno village comprises several old authentic barn houses, transferred from varios locations of the former Yugoslavia (the village of Brgule near Vareš, Dugandžići village near Olovo etc.) The barn houses of Stanisici traditional settlement are turned into luxurious accommodation for rent, in form of two apartments and three rooms with bathrooms that provide warm, and pleasant atmosphere. A modern luxuriously furnished hotel which can accommodation 80 guests has been built within the Stanisici traditional tourist complex. Each room and apartment of Stanisici tourist complex features cable TV, phone, A/C, bar, safe. There are various amenities available that make memorable and relaxed vacations in Stanisici traditional tourist settlement – open air swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage parlour, fitness, cocktail hall with access to the pool, WiFi Internet. Besides those accommodation units, there are numerous ancient objects such, antique furniture, wooden spoons, old cradles and carpets forming an authentic ethnographic collection.
Signifant for the offer of the Stanisici traditional touris complex is the fully equipped congress hall with 100 seats, providing premium opportunities for succesfull organization of events and congresses.

The Stanisici traditional tourist complex also contains the Saint Nicola monastery, which was consecrated by Zvornik-Tuzla Bishop Vasilije, Zahumlje-Herzegovina Bishop Grigorije and America-Canada Bishop Longin on 22nd May 2006. St. father Nicola’s and Tsar Uroš’s relics have been laid under the throne. After consecration, many baptisms and weddings took place in the monastery.
Numerous swans and ducks decorate the Stanisici traditional tourist settlement which also contains a miniature stable with a horse-riding school available to visitors of this unique place. Three ponies provide children horse-riding classes, too. The Stanisici traditional tourist settlement – ethno village organizes carriage and hunter sledge rides around Semberija villages and Drina River shore.
