Day 1 Arrival to Belgrade Airport and welcome by Panacomp Wonderland Travel professional guide. Drive to Novi Sad and accommodation in centrally located 4 stars hotel. Introductory walking Novi Sad city tour followed by sightseeing of the Petrovaradin Fortress, the prominent symbol of the town. Dinner, overnight.
Day 2 After breakfast drive to Sremski Karlovci, spiritual, educational and cultural center and walk along the beautiful baroque center – Patriarchal Residence, Four Lions Fountain, St Nicholas Orthodox Church, Gymnasium.… Visit to one of the most famous winery and wine tasting in authentic wine cellar with kugloff tasting. Drive on along the gentle slopes of Fruska Gora Mt-National Park to the Novo Hopovo Monastery, famous for its beautiful well preserved Medieval frescoes. Sightseeing. Moderate hike of ca 3 km to Staro Hopovo Monastery and visit. Introduction into the Cyrillic Calligraphy writing under supervision of the Icon painter-art historian. Big rustic lunch. Drive via Zrenjanin to Vrsac and 3+ stars hotel accommodation. Dinner, overnight.
Day 3 After breakfast introductory tour of Vrsac – the Gothic Cathedral and one of the oldest pharmacies of the area. Ferry ride across the Danube operating between Stara Palanka and the ruins of the Ram Fortress. Drive along the course of the Danube to Golubac Fortress which marks the entrance to the Djerdap National Park, the largest and maybe the most beautiful of the five national parks in Serbia. Drive on to the spectacular Lepenski Vir Archaeological site and sightseeing. Continue along the Danube River course and break for introductory hike through the Djerdap National Park and observation from the breathtaking Kovilovo observation point, from where spreads magnificent view on the Danube rocky sides of the Iron Gates that connects Serbia and Romania. Rustic lunch. Drive to Tekije and cruising with dinner and wine tasting by luxurious boat to Tabula Traiana and the King Decebel sculpture. Accommodation at the Danube Aqua Star 4 stars hotel. Dinner, overnight.
Day 4 After breakfast visit to the Archaeological Museum of Kladovo, tour of the Pontes Bridge ruins and the Diana Fortress. Drive via Negotin to famous Rajac Wineries above the tiny Rajac village, the easternmost settlement in Serbia with long viticulture traditions. Cordial welcome by locals in Rajacke pimnice – Rajac Wineries and walk to the mysterious ancient cemetery with beautifully carved tombstones and tasting of delicious wines in numerous authentic wineries. Big traditional lunch. Departure to Vidin – Bulgaria via the Mokranje-Bregovo border crossing. Introductory tour of the Baba Vida Vidin Fort which features significant history and keeps numerous legends as the seat of the Vidin sanjak during Ottoman rule. Continue via Belogradchik to the Madonna Han boarding house at the Falkovets village and accommodation. Traditional dinner, overnight.
Day 5 After breakfast tour of the Belogradchik area and sightseeing of the Kale fort, followed by visit to the famous Belogradchik rocks. Picnic outdoor lunch. Hike along the Chuprene reserve with the ranger. Afternoon return to the Madonna Han in Falkovetz village near Belogradchik. Traditional dinner with folklore performance. Overnight.
Day 6 After breakfast drive back to Serbia via Kula-Vrska Chuka border crossing to Gamzigradska Banja Spa and visit to the famous UNESCO site of the Felix Romuliana and its wonderful Imperial palace of Emperor Galerius. Continue to Zajecar and visit to the National Museum. Drive to Bor Lake/Brestovacka Banja Spa and accommodation in 3+ stars hotel. Dinner, overnight.
Day 7 After breakfast departure via Aleksinac to Smederevo and walking tour along the fortress, with the Medieval lifestyle of Serbia presentation and wine tasting. Light lunch. Drive to Belgrade and accommodation at the centrally located 3+ hotel. Belgrade tour : the Parliament, the National Theater, the Saint Sava Orthodox Cathedral…. Traditional dinner in the Skadarlija Restaurant, overnight.
Day 8 After breakfast free time at leisure before transfer to Belgrade Airport, departure flight and end of program and services.
