Raska Municipality is situated in south-west and Central Serbia, in central part of the beautiful Ibar River valley, west of Kopaonik Mountain-National Park and east of Golija Mountain slopes. Raska features great geographical position, at the distance of 250 km south of Belgrade, 333 km south of Novi Sad and 82 km south of Kraljevo. Raska was a Serbian spiritual center in medieval times, and according to historical documents the first Serbian state.
