Day 1 Departure from Belgrade at 09,00 by luxurious coach and drive along tranquil lowlands of Vojvodina /Northern Serbia/. Arrival to Sombor, the town in the Western part of Vojvodina Province known for its multicultural civil sociaty tradition. Cordial welcome by local hosts dressed in historic costumes from the 19th century representing famous Sombor style of life and homemade drinks refreshment. Carriage ride along the picturesque Sombor Square followed by the folklore performance of the Singing Women Group. Visit to the Gallery of Milan Konjovic and the Town Museum housing Ethnograpfhic Exhibitions. Drive to the Dida Hornjak’s Farm House big traditional lunch – home-made food. Short walk along the garden full of greenery and visit to the Art Workshop of handwork with active guests participation in workshop. Afternoon accommodation in hotel. Big traditional dinner in the famous restaurant-czarda on the Danube with tamburitza orchestra entertainment /until early morning hours/, overnight.
Day 2 After breakfast 2 hours sightseeing of Sombor : impressive edifice of Zgrada Zupanije from 1805 with monumental painting of the Senta Battle, The Saint George church built in baroque-rococo style, The „Laza Kostic Serbian Reading Room” of the National Theatre, The Roman-Catholic church and the Franciscan Monastery from the 18th century, The Perish House originating from the early 19th century, The Church of the Holy Trinity from 1743 and old architecture of Sombor. Visit to the Farm of Jene Visinka in Gradina and big traditional lunch /fish paprikash or beef or venison goulash with homemade noodles. Visit to the exhibition and collection of traditional tools. Outdoor games and competitions /fishing contest, boat ride…/. Traditional dinner, overnight.
Day 3 After breakfast visit to the rustic Farm of Milan Vukobratovic located on the Great Sombor Canal. Attractive canu ride and competition in fishing and goulash cooking. Lunch. Afternoon departure from Sombor. Late evening arrival to Belgrade and end of program.
