Ljubovija Rural Tourism
Ljubovija is small town of hilly-mountainous area of Podrinje in West Serbia with population of some 14500, on the river mouth of Ljubovidja river with the Drina River. Ljubovija is surronded with mountains that the Drina River divides from Republika Srpske – Republic of Srpska and municipalities of Bratunac and Srebrenica in the length of 38 km. Numerous sites and localities testify on long and rich history of this town. In proximity of Ljubovija there is the Bobija Mountain whose peak Tornicka Bobija, 1272 m dominates the area. Visitors of Ljubovija have variety of activities and visit to the protected nature and exploration of attractions – the Monument with the Ossuary in Mackov kamen which honors the fallen soldiers during the First World War, canyons of Tribuća, Sušica, Ljubovidja and Trešnjica which are habitat of griffin vultures and rare flora and fauna.
