The Gourmet Educational-business Center in Vrdnik is result of the cross-border cooperation with Croatia, implemented with the aim for development of new tourist products, in harmony with demands, needs and expectations of modern visitors, under the principle of connecting heritage with traditional resources that strategically contribute to the increase of income from tourism. By recognition of all possibilities of the optimal geographic position and suitable climatic conditions, with the aim of improvement of the gastro tourism of Serbia and the region, enhanced with cultural and historical features of the Panonia areas and original local food, along with options for functional education and achievement of skills and knowledge of young labor, the Educons University had extended its business profile by opening the Gourmet Educational-business Center in Vrdnik which is innovative tourist resource that provides visitors of various profiles with products and services that are rare in those areas, and which is selected among the eight best projects of sustainable gastronomy in EU.

-“The Gourmet Educational-business Center is educational center of the Educons University which was established by the international project with the aim that GOURMET center gather various producers of the Pannonia area with the specially arranged kitchen for presentation of traditional food of this area. This facility has 15 accommodation units of which 13 rooms and 2 suites, with a large multi-functional meeting room, and a small meeting room. Two kitchens make this facility an unique one – the main restaurant kitchen and the educational kitchen. Focus is on the second one which is used as the training center for training of young cooks and education of the other catering working staff. The Kitchen has two functions – for education and training of cooks, but also for commercial purposes as it welcomes various events as team building, celebrations, marking of some anniversaries, under supervision of our famous CHEF Nebojsa. The Gourmet kitchen is properly equipped so that visitors have chance to learn to cook, and later consume what they have prepared…. The facility also boasts a Spa part which includes 2 hydro-massage baths and a sauna along with massage services.
