Fruska Gora and Belgrade tour 2

Day 1 Arrival to Belgrade Airport, welcome by Panacomp English speaking professional guide and transfer to centrally located 4 stars Belgrade hotel. Belgrade city tour : Parliament, National Theater, Saint Sava Orthodox Cathedral, Kalemegdan Fortress from where spreads memorable panorama of Belgrade rivers… Traditional dinner. Overnight.

Day 2 After breakfast drive along the gentle slopes of the Fruska Gora Mt/National Park to Novo Hopovo and Staro Hopovo Monasteries and sightseeing. Continue to the rural household which provides tourist services and big traditional lunch. Continue to Sremski Karlovci, cultural, educational and spiritual center and walk along the beautiful Baroque center : the Patriarchal Residence, the Saint Nicholas Church, the Gymnasium, the Four Lions Fountain… Wine tasting /4 sorts of delicious wines/ with traditional snacks /smoked ham, cheese, homemade bread/ in authentic wine cellar, followed with the Kugloff Cake Workshop /in the nice vanilla smelling ambiance and conducted by experienced cook who teaches visitors to prepare the famous cake along the traditional recipes, using the herbs, nuts and other ingredients from local suppliers and the market/. Drive on to Novi Sad, centrally located 4 stars hotel accommodation, overnight.

Day 3 After breakfast Novi Sad city tour : the City Hall, Cathedral, Liberty Square, pedestrian zone of Zmaj Jovina pedestrian-shopping street... Drive to the westernmost part of the Fruska Gora Mt/NP along the Danube River via tiny villages which produce excellent wines in traditional way. Visit to the Medieval Monasteries of Petkovica and Sisatovac. Monastic refreshment /natural juice or herbs cocktail/, followed with Cyrillic Calligraphy Course. Visit to the authentic farm surrounded with vineyards which breeds horses, goats, mangalitza pigs and poultry and produces excellent wines and outstanding pear brandy-rakija. Baking homemade bread in furnace or cooking activities /milking goat/cow/sheep or roasting piglet…./ Wine tasting in authentic wine cellar and big traditional dinner, accompanied with tambouritza band music. Return to Novi Sad hotel, overnight.

Day 4 After breakfast transfer to Belgrade Airport, departure flight and end of program/services.
