Day 1   Budapest – Belgrade

Arrival at Budapest Airport. Welcome by Panacomp Wonderland Travel representative. Transfer to Belgrade. Hotel accommodation. Welcome dinner, overnight.

Day 2   Belgrade – Viminacium site – Golubac fortress – Lepenski Vir site – Donji Milanovac

After breakfast Belgrade city tour: National Theater, Republic Square, Saint Sava Orthodox Cathedral, Kalemegdan Fortress. Drive to enchanting Viminacium archaeological site, former Roman military camp and tour of the excavations followed by the “Roman lunch”. Drive through the Danube Gorge with short brake for photo-shooting and tour of the Golubac Fortress. Drive to Lepenski Vir archaeological site and sightseeing. Drive to Donji Milanovac and accommodation in high class, comfortable rustic-rural accommodation/apartments. Traditional dinner. Overnight.

Day 3   Donji Milanovac – Rajkova pecina Cave – Novi Sad

After breakfast drive to the Rajkova Pecina Cave, famous for its rich cave-jewelry and visitation. Traditional out-door lunch /honey, nuts, roasted lamb, boiled homemade rakija – liquors…/, followed by interesting Vlach-Wallachian dances folklore performance. Leisure and entertainment activities in the heart of East Serbia nature: gold mining, competition in traditional Serbian games, exploration and observation of relict birds and insects, and rare flora.. Drive via Pozarevac and Belgrade to Novi Sad. Hotel accommodation. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 4   Fruska Gora National Park – Krusedol and Grgeteg Monasteries 

After breakfast full day tour to Fruska Gora National Park, the former Pannonean Sea. Visit to Krusedol and Grgeteg Monasteries, the best preserved amongst seventeen Medieval Monasteries in Fruska Gora Mountain. Traditional lunch at rustic “Perkov salas” /Perko’s Farm/ full of greenery. Drive on to Sremski Karlovci and tour of the picturesque cultural center of Serbs in baroque style : Bishop’s Residence, “The Four Lions Fountain”, St. Nichola’s Orthodox Church, Gymnasium. Honey Museum visit with honey and delicious wines tasting in authentic wine cellar. Drive to Petrovaradin Fortress, called the “Gibraltar on the Danube”, thanks to its strategic position on the vertical cliff above the Danube. Walking tour of Novi Sad downtown : The City Hall, The Cathedral, Assembly of Vojvodina, shopping zone with restaurants and coffee-shops… Dinner in Restaurant with beautiful view to Danube River. Overnight.

Day 5   Novi Sad – Subotica – Palic Lake

After breakfast drive to Subotica and sightseeing tour. Drive to “Vinski dvor complex”. Lunch followed by ‘wine knight performance’ and wine tasting in authentic wine cellar. Drive to the Palic Lake and hotel accommodation. Walk aroung the beautiful Palic lake. Farewell dinner with music. Overnight.

Day 6   Palic Lake – Budapest departure 

After breakfast drive to Budapest Airport. Departure flight. End of the program.
