It is work of the academic sculptor Dušan Džamonja, and includes the Memorial wall and the Museum. The Kozara Memorial complex contains names of 9.921 identified victims killed during the Kozara Offensive in 1942, and commemorates some 68.000 killed civilians and some 2500 partisans, of which there were some 50.000 civilian victims and some 10.000 children who ended their lives in the Jasenovac and the Auschwitz concentration camps, and other concentration camps in Germany. The Kozara Memorial Park collected names of 33.398 executed civil victims of Kozara area, while the destiny of many is still unknown.
