Mirosaljci village is situated in Eastern part of Arilje Municipality, only 6 km away from center of the town, along the paved/partially macadam road which climbs the beautiful and gentle mountain slope from where spreads wonderful mountainous panorama. The Municipality of Arilje is situated in the western-central part of Serbia and belongs to the Zlatibor county, spreading on the altitudes between 330 to 1382 meters. Arilje Municipality covers an area between courses of several rivers – Moravica, Veliki and Mali Rzav Rivers, with hilly and mountainous terrains and the narrow belt of plain fertile land surrounding the Moravica River which is all covered with fruitful raspberry fields. Arilje is actually the raspberry center due to numerous producers of raspberry of extraordinary quality, which is almost fully exported. Arilje is well connected with large economic, cultural and administrative centers of Serbia – Užice, Čačak, Kragujevac, Ivanjica, Belgrade…. Mirosaljci village is surrounded with beautiful natural environment, preserved forested hills and Moravica river. Near the Savić Family household, about 16 km away is Guca trumpet metropolis, with part of 900 meters of macadam road which is under construction, as well as the ethno village Vajati in Kravarica village /3.5 km/ and the archaeological site of the Roman well /still not researched and excavated/.
Mirosaljci village is known for its extraordinary healthy environment, which is excellent for succesful agriculture, stock breeding and fruit growing with the leading producers of raspberries and apples in Serbia. The climate in Mirosaljci village is also very suitable for the production of blackberries, apples, plums, strawberries, and it is characterized by plantages and rows of various fruits that surround neat households and roads. Walking through meadows and orchards, visitors can taste the organically produced fruits of highest quality. There’s also a rich hunting reserve on the territory of the Mirosaljci village. Spending time in nature and the pure fresh mountain air completely invigorates and rejuvenates the body and spirit, providing opportunities for outdoor recreation, walking, adrenaline sports, picking berries and herbs. At a distance of 4 km is located the Klisura Monastery, and the Church of the Ascension is in the Dragojevac village, only 1 km away. It is strongly recommended to visitors of this rural tourist household to visit the Church of Saint Achilles in Arilje, a very rich cultural and historical heritage, as well as the hidden Visocka Banja Spa and Vodena Pecina Cave – Water cave in the village of Panjica.
The accommodation capacity of the Savic rural tourist household in Arilje consists of 4 beds in the main house where diligent hosts live, organized in 1 double room and 1 room with a large king size bed and two single extra beds, and bathrooms with bathtube. Visitors use the kitchen, bathroom and the spacious living room, although is it highly recommended to take delicious local food, prepared by hardworking hosts, made of produces and food from their own production on the family run farm. Common premises of the large living rooms are equipped with TV, telephone and Internet connection. The Savic Family in Arilje is widely known for their excellent skills and knowledge in manufacture of traditional costumes which they for decades operate in original handwork workshop full of various textiles and threads. In the ground floor of the main house there is modern and lovely apointed space for various meetings and gatherings, suitable for handwork or other types of education and classes. Next to the houses there are 3 traditionally arranged wooden cottages with 2 single beds each and usage of bathrooms in the main houses. Around the houses of the Savic family there are stables with domestic animals and poultry, surrounded with the garden and orchards. Below the house is the Šljivik camp site, fully equipped with camp facilities and surrounded with greenery and flowers, with beautiful panorama on the nearby mountains, which also attracts many visitors.
The most important features of this Arilje rural tourist household are unbeatable kindness, diligence and cordiality of hosts, always ready to welcome and greet the guests with delicious homemade rakija or natural juice, who feel like at home while enjoying in completely new atmosphere and a friendly environment. The hosts extremely pay attention on traditional customs and respect the Serbian feasts, therefore the celebration of Christmas or celebration of Slava /saint patron day/ represent special family events, which bring together many friends and family members. In addition, the hosts are leading certified manufacturers of Serbian folk costumes with wide product line in their reputed Ethno-tex Savic workshop. Authentic handmade, hand-woven and hand-embroidered costumes and other traditional clothes are manufactured here by the lady owner Milka. Hosts of the Savic Family entertain visitors of nearby festivals like Guca Brass Festival and representations of customs in Serbia, with the presence of grandsons, Lazar and Vlade, by which this household is recognizable. During their stay guests can take part in farming, gardening and handicrafts, but also keep sheep, walk, ride mountain bike, pick raspberries – which are extremely important source of income for the entire Zlatibor county and the central region and Serbia – blackberries, apples, plums, wring honey, collected wild fruits and herbs, make brandy … or truly enjoy the attitude of simplicity and authenticity of lifestyle of the people who run this rural household in beautiful Central Serbia.
