The Zvonko Bogdan Winery is located at the north of Serbia, in the traditional wine region of Vojvodina, between the Palic Lake and the Ludaš Lake. About impressive appearance of this beautiful building speaks the recognition of European experts, when the roof of the youngest winery at Palic, won the international “Tondah” competition, among the 700 projects from 13 countries – when it was declared as the most beautiful roof in Europe ! It is almost unbelievable that so impressive and harmonious building in the Art Nouveau style, which is typical for this part of Pannonia, fully merges with the environment, while the interior of the winery Zvonko Bogdan is characterized by a complete landscaping modeled on the French  castles. Using the best French technology, the Zvonko Bogdan Winery took its position among the most modern equipped wineries of the region. Zvonko Bogdan Winery is named after the famous singer of old songs, Mr. Zvonko Bogdan from Subotica, whose rich artistic life and reputation are synonymous of top quality experience.

First vineyards of the Zvonko Bogdan Winery were planted in 2006, with total area of 56 ha, to be completed in 2015, when the new and young vineyards were planted. The Zvonko Bogdan Winery produces wines exclusively from grapes cultivated and matured in the own vineyards. The harvesting is done by hand, so to avoid any accidentally damage grapes, and the processing starts just half an hour after being removed from the cluster of vines, and after the manual sorting of each berry, so that only healthy ones enter the wine. Yields are limited, because the winery Zvonko Bogdan insists on quality.

A wide range of gastronomic specialties paired with the appropriate wines provide visitors of Winery Zvonko Bogan the unforgettable impression. The story of the Zvonko Bogdan Winery begins from the quality, first choice of the best locations of vineyards. Before planting a vineyard, Zvonko Bogdan Winery soil samples were analyzed in Bordeaux and Geisenheim, where it was confirmed that the vineyards of the winery Zvonko Bogdan are very similar to vineyards in Pomerol and St. Emilion (France). Vineyards of the Zvonko Bogdan Winery are situated in the region of Subotica-Horgos sands, on three pitches of Palic, Ludas and Radic, located within 1000 meters and feature specific microclimate and soil conditions which determine the style and character of the wines. All three sites are similar to the structure of the vineyard (the first 50 to 70 cm makes the black soil below which is a layer of mineral clay as hard as a stone), yet retaining specific features. Thanks to these locations and careful selection of specific varieties of white grapes (Sauvignon blanc, Pinot blanc, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay) and red varieties (Merlot, Cabernet franc and Frankovka), harmonized with optimal land and favorable climate conditions, the produced wines can develop their full potential. Terroir makes the full range of conditions for grape growing that contribute to the uniqueness of the style of wine that are produced here.

Zvonko Bogdan Winery in Palic is equipped with modern technology for wine production. For the primary processing is used equipment of the prestigious French manufacturer Vaslin Bucher. Fermentation of white and rose wine takes place in stainless steel tanks, while red wines are fermented in wooden ferment brand Seguin Moreau that during this process gives the wine peace “of his soul.” The barrique cellar has ten sensors that constantly regulate temperature, humidity and the level of carbon dioxide in an area of 1500 sq m, kept in more than 300 barrique barrels of French and American oak of different levels of toasting. The best white wines of the Zvonko Bogdan Winery are aged and matured in oak casks with a capacity of 2,400 liters in brand Seguin Moreau, while the aging of red wines come in barrique barrels of French and American oak of the numerous prestigious manufacturers.

The Zvonko Bogdan Winery in Palic covers the surface over 5800 sq m, and besides plants for the production contains the Club room intended for tourist visits and luxuriously decorated wine tasting room overlooking the barrique cellar and the restaurant. The Zvonko Bogdan Club within the renown winery provide various options for memorable organization of variety of events, professional presentations and corporate celebrations. This multi functional space accommodates 50 persons who truly enjoy in full harmony and pleasure of all senses. The warm atmosphere and friendly hosts make sure visitors get unique experience to remember. The Zvonko Bogdan Winery boasts a large hall for up to 240 persons, a small hall with a capacity of 60 seats and two halls for business meetings. Besides the already developed organization of wine tasting with finest food, recently the original Zvonko Bogdan Salas farm house was opened, as authentic place for excellent lunch or dinner, after the wine tasting in the Winery. The Zvonko Bogdan Salaš Farm is located in the close proximity of the Winery, on the Ludos Lake, fully surrounded with 15 hectares of vineyards. The Zvonko Bogdan Salas farm provides full Vojvodina experience to visitors who enjoy in authentic ambiance and architecture, as well in fantastic Vojvodina food. The farm features a hall for 50 visitors and another hall for 180 visitors, which is convenient for successful organization of various private or corporate parties, team building programs, good time with tambouritza orchestra…  Visit to this unique place makes the best way to discover rich heritage of north of Vojvodina, after touring Subotica and the Palic Lake.
